Qinghao , the plant from which artemisinin is derived, had already been identified by the Project as one of the important subjects of the study. which generally contained a very low concentration of artemisinin. But when that conflict ended, the Cold War began and ENIAC was given new marching orders. ENIAC was used by the US Army during the rest of WWII.
