Flow Chemistry at the Core of AI Model

The expertise of the Noël group lies in “flow chemistry,” a pioneering method replacing traditional tools with a system of small, flexible tubes. RoboChem employs this technique, with a robotic needle collecting starting materials and orchestrating molecular conversions under the influence of LED-triggered photocatalysts.

Real-Time Optimization and Ingenuity

Working tirelessly around the clock, RoboChem doesn’t just follow instructions; it displays ingenuity. Real-time feedback from an automated NMR spectrometer ensures precise identification of transformed molecules. Impressively, the system’s logic sometimes surprises even its creators, showcasing a level of ingenuity beyond human intuition.
