A new year, a new semester, a new reminder of resources! To help you kick off Spring 2024 right, we’ve compiled a list of helpful CDS and university resources and information below.

The Student Health Center, the Health Promotion Initiative, and the NYU Wellness Exchange

As they say, health is wealth. We’ve compiled some information on available health-related resources at NYU. The Student Health Center (SHC) offers medical and pharmacy services, counseling, and provides accessibility accommodations to students with disabilities. SHC also includes the Health Promotion initiative, which provides students with guidance in making informed and healthy decisions while at NYU. LiveWellNYU, a component of the Health Promotion, connects students with academic and social tips, and provides opportunities to participate in various campus activities.

The NYU Wellness Exchange is a comprehensive mental health campus resource. The exchange includes a 24-hour hotline, the Wellness exchange app (which is available anytime), as well as counseling sessions, which can be arranged same-day, if urgent. The Exchange can be reached at wellness.exchange@nyu.edu.

CDS Student Groups

Connect with the CDS community through our student groups. Engage with your peers by joining the CDS Graduate Student Community-Building Group, the Data Science Club, or Women in Data Science (WiDS).

NYU Student Tech Guide

NYU IT’s Student Tech Guide is a comprehensive set of tools to make it easy for you to find and navigate needed software and services. Whether you’re looking to set up your tech, need help with troubleshooting, or have questions regarding cybersecurity best practices, the Guide has you covered! To get started, visit the NYU IT Homepage.
