This year for ODSC East 2023, we are making some changes to our ever-popular Mini-Bootcamp Pass and providing opportunities for you to start your learning journey even earlier.
Over the past few years, we’ve heard from our community that you wanted more introductory courses so that you can get the most out of your Mini-Bootcamp conference experience. And we’ve listened! This year we are adding more ways for you to begin your learning journey before ODSC East to ensure you are familiar with the conference program and the foundational skills. Check out what is included in the Mini-Bootcamp below.
Pre-Bootcamp On-Demand Training
We know you can’t wait to get started. To kick your learning journey off, we’re giving Mini-Bootcamp attendees access to some of our most popular on-demand introductory courses on the Ai+ Training Platform. These sessions provide to-the-point instruction on essential fundamental concepts. Check them out below.

Pre-Bootcamp Live Training
In addition to the on-demand pre-conference training, from March to April we will be hosting 4 live, virtual warmup sessions for our Mini-Bootcamp attendees. These warmup sessions will ensure you have a strong grasp of the vocabulary and concepts you’ll need to get the most out of the conference. Warmup sessions include
- Data Primer Course — March 2, 2023
- SQL Primer Course — March 14, 2023
- Programming Primer Course with Python — April 6, 2023
- AI Primer Course — April 26, 2023
Bootcamp Orientation
In March and April, we will be offering virtual orientation sessions. During these sessions we will be:
- Answering questions about the ODSC East Bootcamp program
- Making sure you understand which program content is available on-demand, live, or included in our event schedule
- Going over what courses are available on Ai+ Training
- Providing help with the assignments on Ai+ Training
Conference Week
Even during the conference week, you’ll get an extra pre-conference day just for Bootcamp and VIP attendees. This virtual-only, pre-conference day will continue the focus on fundamental skills and tools. Past courses have included

During the conference itself, you’ll have your choice of any of ODSC East’s training sessions, workshops, and talks.
