It’s the week of November 13th and it’s almost halfway through the month. But before we talk about turkey day it’s time to check out this week’s top five repos. Again, we have some familiar repos, but a few more are new to the lists with placements also changing between now and last week. So let’s take a look:
inshellisense is a terminal native runtime for autocomplete that provides IDE-style autocomplete for shells. It has support for 600+ command line tools and is available for Windows, Linux, and MacOS. This means that you can use it to get autocomplete suggestions for commands, options, and arguments when you are typing in a shell. This can be a great time-saver, especially if you are working with a lot of complex commands. inshellisense also supports tab completion, so you can press Tab to fill in the rest of a command or option that you have started typing.
Are you interested in running your large language model in a local environment? Well, then OLlama has you covered. This repo promises to give you the tools to “Get up and running with Llama 2 and other large language models locally”, which is a pretty bold claim.
The Yi series models are large language models that were trained from scratch by developers at 01.AI. The first public release contains two bilingual (English/Chinese) base models with the parameter sizes of 6B and 34B. Both of these models were trained with a sequence length of 4K but can be extended to 32K during inference time. This means that they can be used to generate longer sequences of text, such as paragraphs or even essays. The Yi series models
sshx is a secure web-based, collaborative terminal that lets you share your terminal with anyone by link. You can use it to work on projects together, troubleshoot problems, and teach others how to use the command line. It has real-time collaboration, with remote cursors and chat. This means that you can see what everyone else is doing and communicate with them in real-time. It is also fast and end-to-end encrypted, with a lightweight server written in Rust. This means that your data is safe and secure, and you can be confident that your conversations are private.
OpenGPTs is an open-source project that aims to create a similar experience to OpenAI’s GPTs. It builds upon LangChain, LangServe, and LangSmith. OpenGPTs give you more control over many aspects such as the prompts and tools that you can use. It also allows for the choice between 60 vector database integrations and provides flexibility on the chat history database used. The goal of this repo is to give users more flexibility and control over their final product, which will allow them to tailor tier GPT to their specific needs.

A pretty solid week for repos. Some familiar faces with some new additions entering the mix.
