One thing that Nick pointed out in particular was the importance of having a strong portfolio. He noted that while a resume and experience can be helpful to get you the interview in the first place, being able to showcase what you can do with a real-world case study can be a difference maker. Think of it this way; if you’re an employer, you’d want to be able to see that a candidate can do exactly what the job entails in real-time, proving that they can get the job done.
