Plan Ahead With the ODSC West 2023 Schedule Overview
ODSC West is coming to San Francisco in a big way this year. Like our recent conferences, this conference will be hybrid, featuring both in-person and virtual components. However, we are making a few changes, most importantly, ODSC West will be 4 full days of training sessions, workshops, networking events, and much more.

Monday, October 30th
This pre-conference day is exclusively available to our Mini-Bootcamp (virtual in in-person) and VIP (in-person only) attendees. The ODSC team will be hard at work getting the conference set up, so all sessions will be held virtually and will focus on data science and AI fundamentals, like programming, statistics, and mathematics for data science.
Tuesday, October 31st
Tuesday will be the first fully hybrid day, offering both in-person and virtual sessions. To help our data scientists, data engineers, AI practitioners and data professionals of all types stay at the forefront of their fields, this day will be dedicated to hands-on training and workshops from leading experts.
In-person attendees will have access to the Career Expo, where attendees can learn about the different paths their careers can take.
Virtual attendees can choose between hands-on training sessions, expert-led workshops, and breakout talk sessions on our virtual platform.
Wednesday, November 1st
Day 2 of ODSC West features even more hands-on training sessions, expert-led workshops and tutorials on topics like machine learning, NLP and LLMs, data engineering, big data analytics, MLOps, generative AI, and more for our in-person attendees.
There will also be a full-day of talks on the influence of data science and AI applications on industry at the Ai X Business and Innovation Summit. With the goal of equipping our business minded attendees with the knowledge they need to help guide their organizations in this ever-changing environment of AI and data science applications, we’ve expanded the summit with even more talks. Additionally, Day 2 marks the first day of the AI Expo and Demo Hall, where you can connect one-on-one with our industry-leading partners and see their products and services demoed live.
Virtual attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with our partners at the virtual AI Expo and Demo Hall. And, like their in-person counterparts, they will have a full-day of hands-on training sessions and workshops in the job-ready skills they need to succeed.
Thursday, November 2nd
Day 3 at ODSC West is the last day of training sessions and the AI Expo and Demo Hall for both in-person and virtual attendees.
In-person attendees will also have the opportunity to attend breakout talk sessions with leading experts and get to know their fellow attendees, and gain new insights on how data science is utilized in different locations and industries, over small bites and drinks at the Networking Reception.
On the virtual side, Day 3 brings attendees to the Ai X Business and Innovation Summit with breakout talk sessions from data science and industry experts.
Friday, November 3rd
The final day of the ODSC West will close out with Keynote Talks from some of the experts working at the forefront of data science and AI. Additionally, you’ll have a final opportunity to build new essential skills with expert-led workshops and breakout talk sessions.
